  Dr. Horton is an amazing teacher. I work full time and she made the class doable for me. The outlines she provides make the papers easy. The weekly discussion posts are pass/fail. She really cares about her students and she is easy to talk to. I recommend her class.

  This class was an easy A. There were 10 discussion posts and three essays. Horton grades the posts on effort. She provides detailed feedback which makes writing the essays easier. She even provides outlines and sample thesis statements for the essays. I would wholeheartedly recommend her class. She made this course easy for me.

  Professor Horton is clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about teaching. She knows the material and she wants to help students do well. Everyone in my study group did really well in her class. We thought she went out of her way to help us. If you are serious about getting into nursing school, I would definitely recommend her class.

  I was seven months pregnant with a high risk pregnancy when I took her course. Horton worked with me to keep up with the assignments. Without her help and encouragement, I don't think I would have completed the course. She really has a heart and you can tell she wants to help students. She is a top-notch professor. Take her class.

  I have taken two classes with Ms. Horton, one online and one in person. I liked her in person better. She is really funny and makes everyone laugh. But her online course was great too. She is easy to talk to and she goes out of her way to help us. I would take a third class with her if I needed another humanities credit. Fun classes.

  Awesome class. Horton is great. She is so helpful. It's clear she wants you to well in the course. I am not a strong writer but I learned a lot in her class. I sent her drafts of my essays and she gave me good feedback. She told me what I need to do to bring my essay up to an A. I am starting to feel more confident in my writing.

  I work full time and Shands and I still got an A in her class. Horton is a wonderful instructor. She is always willing to help and she returns emails quickly. If you ask her to read a draft of your essay she wil give you good feedback. Its clear she wants her students to be successful. If you are a slacker, just don't take her class.

  I may have a different perspective. I am returning to college after working in the healthcare field for 22 years. I thought Horton was great. I was surprised to see the number of students complain about the her. She just expects you to do the work and she will help if you ask. The outlines she provides for the essays make the course fairly easy.

  I thought this was a really interesting course. I am a tech person and I found the discussion on artificial intelligence fascinating. The weekly discussions are pretty much pass/fail. The quizzes made you do the reading. I don't see how anyone could complain about her. She just expects you to do the work. I would recommend her class.

  I am part of the study group where we all got an A. Horton reached out and asked us to review her. She is awesome. I never had an instructor who was so concerned about us and who said we could text her if we had questions. She even video conferenced with us when no one could figure out what we were supposed to do. She goes out of her way to help.
